The Big Sur…

a street that makes you stopping every 5 minutes to enjoy its untouched nature!

Montara Lighthouse Hostel

Just 25 miles away from San Francisco, I found out about that lovely hostel directly at a Lighthouse Station. If you ever got the chance to go there its really worth a visit. From the shower and kitchen you have a beautiful view on the ocean. They also have their own little beach and the Marine Reserve is just around the corner!

California dreamin‘

What comes into your mind, when you think of California? For me it would be: sunny weather, a relaxed and easy-going lifestyle, freedom, hippie buses and surfers! In the next 5 weeks I have time to find out, which of these ideas will turn into real for me! If anyone got suggestions…feel free to share them with me!

Ireland – no.2

From Dublin Airport we headed west to Galway. From there our trip took us to the impressive & famous Cliffs of Moher, where we stayed in a lovely hostel called the „Aille River Hostel“ in Doolin. Following the impressive coastal scenery we went further north along the west coast and ended up in one of the weirdest hostels I have ever seen. Directly on the edge of the „Connemara National Park“ the Old Monastery Hostel is operated by Steven. A crazy but inspiring place, where we met very nice people!
